Product DescriptionA highly concentrated low foam emulsifier for use in carpet soil extraction machines. Carpetclean XL is phosphate free and contains special corrosion inhibitors to help protect machinery and truck-mount chemical metering systems. Carpetclean XL has been tested and approved for aircraft carpet cleaning.
Directions For UseShake well before use.
Truck-mount metering systems: Dilute 1 litre of S800 in 20 litres of water (1 to 20) to make metering concentrate. Set flow meter at 2 to 4 GPH.
Portable machines: Dilute 15ml of S800 per 5 litres of hot water (1 to 333).
Always pretest carpet for colour fastness with diluted solution before proceeding.
Pretreat heavily soiled areas with S710 Trafficlean according to label directions.
For aircraft prespray, use S800 diluted at 50ml per litre of water (1 to 20).

Eye Contact: Contact may cause significant eye irritation and possible damage if not promptly rinsed.
Skin Contact: Prolonged or repeated contact with concentrate may cause irritation and possible dermatitis.
Inhalation: None expected in normal use. Overexposure may cause temporary irritation of the nose and throat.
Ingestion: Ingestion of concentrate may produce nausea and irritation.

Section 4: First Aid Measures

Eye Contact: Flush immediately with water for 15 minutes, then seek medical attention if irritation persists.
Skin Contact: Flush skin with plenty of water. Seek medical attention if any skin irritation persists.
Inhalation: Get fresh air and seek medical assistance if breathing is difficult.
Ingestion: Drink water and seek immediate medical attention. Do not give anything by mouth if patient is unconscious. DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING unless directed to do so by medical personnel.

Extinguishing Media: Product is not flammable. Use water, carbon dioxide, dry powder extinguisher, or other media appropriate for materials actually involved in fire.
Fire/Explosion Hazards: No explosion hazard.
Decomposition Products: Exposure to fire may liberate carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, organic acids, water and other unidentified thermal decomposition products from this product or its packaging.
Special Protective Equipment: Self contained breathing apparatus if large amounts involved in fire.

Personal Protection: Protective clothing, nitrile butyl rubber gloves, chemical splash goggles.
Containment and Disposal: Large spills should be treated with dry absorbent and disposed at legal waste disposal site.
Small spills can be flushed with water to sewage drain linked to waste treatment facility.

Handling Precautions: Wear nitrile butyl rubber gloves and safety glasses when handling concentrate.
Storage Precautions: Avoid extremes of temperature.

Ventilation: Normal air circulation. Allow adequate ventilation in enclosed areas.
Hygiene: Wash hands and clothing after use or spill.
